Finished the season with an 8-3-1 (W-D-L) regular season record, good for second place in the District Silver Division. Avanti won the preseason Harbor Cup Tournament in Gig Harbor by going 3-0-1 and defeating fellow Lakewood team, the Revolution 2-0 after losing to them 4-2 earlier in the competition. Advanced to the semi finals of the State American Cup Tournament, and won the preseason 5 a side tournament put on by the Lakewood and South Tacoma Soccer Clubs.
